What is a renewable resource?

A renewable resource is not necessarily recycled products but bi-products of managed resources. In other words, if a tree is cut down to fulfill a need for windows or doors, in return, at least one tree is planted in it’s place. The tree is the resource and it is being renewed. we call this managed forestry or sustainable harvesting practices.
